In 2014, the Toronto Chamber Choir boasts recently appointed Artistic Director Lucas Harris. The choir wishes Mark Vuorinen all the best, after 5 splendid seasons together. David Fallis, the choir’s Music Director Laureate, led the choir for over 20 years prior to Mark. Learn more about the choir’s works, or buy tickets for the 2014-15 season.

For over four decades, the Toronto Chamber Choir’s mission has been to present creative programs of Renaissance and Baroque repertoire, performed in a historically-informed style and to a high musical standard. The choir also performs music from later periods which complements or illuminates our core repertoire.

Notable performances in recent seasons have included Francesco Cavalli’s Requiem, Thomas Tallis’s 40-part Spem in Alium, John Sheppard’s Media Vita, and works by Canadian composers such as Tawnie Olsen and Andrew Donaldson.

Participation in the choir is through auditions held every June. Please see the contact us page to arrange an audition.
